This was a few months back, i decided to give it a final touch of story telling and have it be rendered very
graphic and simple.

I'm doing a new cover for Telos Publishing, it is the last "Time Hunter" book in the series, I'm pretty sad to see it go.
For those of U who are not familiar, "Time Hunter" was a spin off novella series based on "Dr. Who"

I'm doing a new series of illustrations, I use a concept of a women then I try to warp the pespective or change the elements of the idea radically........here is the first unfinished piece, remember the final piece could be way different...I'm letting myself go with these, so who knows what I will end up settling with at the end. I plan to do about a half dozen of these.
As for alot of my personal illustration as each is finished, I will SELL prints at Imagekind.com

I gave my wife a set of gouache for Christmas, and the funny thing is it inspired me to get off the computer and try doing a painting traditionally, its been awhile. I decided to start coming up with something for my sons birthday invite, this is really just a test!

I recieved my copy of Aphrodisia 2 (hits bookstores in January) and was thrilled to see that they gave "Hydrogirl" a full page! The December issue of Seattle Sound magazine feature an article I illustrated of a timeline of opera sensation Carl Tanner!

Here are some more Monsters for the brand new "H Planet" (name of new character line)

The first is Violet's character "V" and the others are Ashtons.

Inspiration is a wonderful thing, it gives you purpose and drive as well as making you jumpstart creation. I am inspired by alot of things I see in advertising and the media but lately my 5 year old son is doing these crazy drawings that just leap off the page and into MY creative mind. Its funny because he is so not influenced and what comes out of him is raw and untamed, its fun to see what he hands you next. I decided it would be fun to just take some of his drawings, and have him act as the art director in most cases, and strive to do an illustration based off of his sketches, here are a couple.
I am going to pursue this more, as often as possible and see what occurs over the next few months.
