I'm doing a new series of illustrations, I use a concept of a women then I try to warp the pespective or change the elements of the idea radically........here is the first unfinished piece, remember the final piece could be way different...I'm letting myself go with these, so who knows what I will end up settling with at the end. I plan to do about a half dozen of these.
As for alot of my personal illustration as each is finished, I will SELL prints at Imagekind.com

Inspiration is a wonderful thing, it gives you purpose and drive as well as making you jumpstart creation. I am inspired by alot of things I see in advertising and the media but lately my 5 year old son is doing these crazy drawings that just leap off the page and into MY creative mind. Its funny because he is so not influenced and what comes out of him is raw and untamed, its fun to see what he hands you next. I decided it would be fun to just take some of his drawings, and have him act as the art director in most cases, and strive to do an illustration based off of his sketches, here are a couple.
I am going to pursue this more, as often as possible and see what occurs over the next few months.

-Cheers Thew

It has been a long time coming but I finally got to do a Pulp cover......
Yipeeee! here it is, the type could change.....

-Thew

Just a sampling of the tons of b/w spot art I do.......

-thew

There really wasn't much but here is the finished piece of my friend "Dave"
Dave is very fond of pie!, and I mean any pie. I swear most get togethers involving
Dave include a Keylime, or some kind of turtle! I include a small note next to my sig!
noting his love for them......

-Thew

Started working on a portrait for my friend Dave, I figured it was time because he really is a characture!

-Thew

I do alot of work for Dan over at Canville recently I did
some charactures of some chiropractors just as b/w line art.
I liked the faces so much I did this quick little poster, just for
laughs.

I decided that since ending super hulk thursdays I need to have some kind of draw to try and bring people here to my blog. I am going to do a crayon drawing everyday since I do anyway with my daughter on a daily basis! Here is #1

-Thew

Just finished an illustration for "Seattle Sound" magazine, it appears for an artickle about Carl Tanner who went from bounty hunter to classical opera singer. I was very drawn to the story considering its just fascinating.
